Becoming a Member

To become a member of the Saint John Real Estate Board, you must first be licensed as a real estate salesperson in New Brunswick. Details on that process can be found on the New Brunswick Real Estate Association website by clicking on the button below. To become licensed, you will need to find an agency (a real estate office) to work with. The manager of that office will have all the information and forms you will need to apply for membership with the Saint John Real Estate Board.

Membership benefits include access to the Board's Multiple Listing Service® system, networking opportunities, news updates and other industry communications, leading-edge marketing, technology tools, arbitration services, and training and educational opportunities.

Our members abide by local bylaws, rules and regulations, policies, the provincial Real Estate Agent’s Act, and a national REALTOR® Code. Through their membership in all three levels of organized real estate (CREA, NBREA, and the Saint John Real Estate Board), our members abide by the highest possible standards of practice.

Benefits of being a board member include:

  • Multiple Listing Service® system access
  • Professional standards and business practices
  • Access to comprehensive statistics
  • Ongoing education and training
